My Dream Resort Turtle on the Beach Kovalam Kerala

I spent two days at the end of October 2012 before flying out of India. After an eight weeks visit. I felt very refreshed and energetic to pack my bags and catch the flight back to London. All the tiredness of an exhausting trip disappeared. This was in large measure due to the superb comfort of my bed room at the Turtle with its exquisite view of the sea.

I also enjoyed the versatility, diversity and excellence of the Turtle's cuisine which sensitively embraced South and North Indian cooking and some western dishes. There were traditional desserts but I preferred the enticing selection of fresh fruits so thoughtfully selected for the taste and health properties.

Other attractions which were pleasure and health-enhancing are the very accessible swimming pool, the sandy beach and the Ayurvedic spa.

I am not the only admirer of the Turtles first rate services in a calm and serene ambience - visitors, primarily from Europe and America - Shared my approbation.

For me this was home from home - the Turtle despite its phenomenal success never seems to rest on its laurels. In the face of some very stiff competition it continues to improve on its already acclaimed high standards..
