Indians get new passport, visa centres in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Outsourcing agency VFS Global will open three new centres in Saudi Arabia to facilitate better passport, visa and consular services for Indians, a media report said on Monday. "We are pleased to announce the commencement of our new passport/visa/consular outsourcing services from Jan 1, 2015," the Indian consulate in Jeddah said in a media release on Sunday. "The new arrangement aims to provide better services to the Indian diaspora living under the jurisdiction of the consulate." The three centres will come up in Jeddah, Abha and Tabuk and will be well equipped to deal with all kinds of passport, visa and consular attestation services. "The addresses of these centres would soon be available on the consulate's website and Facebook page," said the consulate statement.
