Pop star Rihanna had to cancel her show midway after food was thrown at her during a live performance in Manchester on Tuesday.The 25-year-old was performing at M.E.N Arena in Manchester when the audience started throwing chips at her, reports news sites.

The singer lost her cool after some time.

"This is next level, there is a good crazy and there is a bad crazy, but when you throw s**t up here, that's an epic fail. I swear to god, cut that s**t out," Rihanna said to the audience.

"Really? Chips? Chips, though - it's that important? Ok Manchester, for those of you who want to (get) jiggy and have a good ..time, say my name," she added.

The singer is currently on her "Diamonds" world tour. She is said to have food thrown in Brussels as well few weeks back. She was late for the concert and the audience got furious.
