Sridevi to work with Meryl Streep in Hollywood film

Mumbai: Screen diva Sridevi is reportedly in talks to share the screen space with Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep in a Hollywood film. Tentatively titled 'Cowboys And Indians', the film will be helmed by Amy Redford, who is the daughter of Hollywood actor-director Robert Redford. Sridevi's manager Punkej Kharbanda has confirmed that the actress has been approached for the role but didn't divulge any further details.

"Yes the news is true and we are happy to have received communication about such a prestigious project but we are not at liberty to say anything more at this point of time," Kharbanda said in a statement. Sridevi, 50, was last seen in Gauri Shinde's 'English Vinglish', which successfully marked her comeback to Bollywood after 15 years.
