Indian charged with molestation in Bahrain

Dubai: A Bahraini court has charged an Indian man with molesting a nine-year-old girl inside a government school. The 42-year-old man, who works as a cleaner, reportedly tried to molest the victim inside a toilet during break time, the Gulf Daily News reported on Tuesday. Neither the location nor the name of the school is mentioned in the report. According to the report, the accused then paid the girl 500 fils ($0.376) to try and stop her from telling anyone. The suspect, who is in custody, however, denied the charge at the High Criminal Court. The trial has been adjourned till November 12.
