Indias Srishti crowned Miss Asia Pacific 2013

Busan: Twenty one-year-old Srishti Rana has made the country proud by winning Miss Asia Pacific 2013 pageant in Korea. She is India's second consecutive winner to win the coveted titles. The 21-year-old outshined among 49 other contestants in the pageant held in Korea on October 30. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Asia Pacific World 2012, Himangini Singh Yadu from India. She also won the Best National costume award depicting the national bird of India. An ecstatic Srishti said, "This is a dream come true! I am very proud of myself right now and still can't believe that I have won the crown. I have a long list of people to thank for their support but to name a few; I would want to thank God, my family, friends, Mr Vineet Jain- MD Times Group and the Miss India Organisation for their endless support. This wouldn't have been possible without any of them. I am so delighted at this moment".
