Seize India's IT opportunities, says Jeddah chamber chief

Dubai: Describing India as an IT hub, head of a Saudi business body has asked companies to seize India's opportunities in the sector. "There is a big demand for IT services and since India is an expert in this field and has highly trained professionals in this sector, we are encouraging business owners to exploit the opportunities," Adnan Mandourah, secretary general of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), said. "Our hearts and minds are open to receive new ideas and learn from experience," Mandourah told Arab News. In a seminar, organised recently by the Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) with the support of the consulate general of India in association with the JCCI, the Saudi- Indian business community was apprised about the prospects of investments in India in the IT sector. "We are proud of the relationship between Saudi Arabia and India, which goes back a long time in history," Mandourah said, adding bilateral relations had strengthened in course of time and there are growing opportunities for both Saudi and Indian business owners.
