Bodies of two Indians found in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Two decomposed bodies of Indian workers have been found in Saudi Arabia, prompting police to start a probe into the matter. The two bodies were discovered in a room in a holiday resort in the Al-Rumeih district, police said. Liquor was brewed in the room and the guard smelled the stench and informed the police. Police broke the room's door and found bodies of the Indian workers, whose ages were estimated at between 30 and 40 years, Arab News reported.

Police said that initial probe showed that there was no evidence of violence and ruled out any criminal motives in the case. However, the bodies have been sent for forensic test to determine the exact cause of the death. Confirming the two deaths, an Indian embassy official said that the mission did not have more details of the case. He, however, added that the embassy would extend its support to the authorities to find out the cause of the deaths and help the families of the deceased.
