Dr Virander Paul , Indias’s Deputy High Commissioner to the U.K was one of the most outstanding ,accomplished and successful diplomats . His tenure was marked by immensely successful initiatives and memorable events including the regional P.B.D and Prime Minister Modl’s successful visit to Britain. His community empowering approach and involvements made him dearer and closer to all sections of Indian community as well as the host community. In view of the impending Brexit implementation he will be an indispensable asset as India’s ambassador within the European Union. In that sense his posting to Geneva is most appropriate.
